SeeDIY · Weekend Woodshop Plans
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
1. Who is responsible
This Privacy Policy applies to the website www.seediy.com (and seediy.com), operated under the brands SeeDIY and Weekend Woodshop Plans by Tal Peretz, Omer, Israel (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Contact for privacy questions or requests: peretzdigital@gmail.com.
We are based in Israel. Depending on where you live, additional rules may apply, including the EU/EEA GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), and Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.
2. What this site does
We publish informational DIY and woodworking content. Some pages include affiliate links to digital products
sold through retailers such as ClickBank. Affiliate clicks are typically routed through our own redirect paths
(for example seediy.com/go/…) before you reach the merchant.
We do not currently collect email addresses or run lead-capture forms on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for any consent the law requires.
3. Information we may process
3.1 Information you choose to send
- Emails you send to peretzdigital@gmail.com (your address, message content, and any details you include).
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Standard server and security logs (for example IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, user agent) processed by our providers to deliver and protect the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
- Your cookie-preference choice stored in your browser (localStorage key
seediy_consent) when you use our consent banner.
3.3 Information we do not currently collect on this site
- Account passwords or member logins on seediy.com
- Payment card details (purchases happen on ClickBank / vendor checkout pages)
- Precise geolocation
- Advertising or analytics pixels from Pinterest, Google, Meta, or similar — unless and until we enable them after you accept marketing/analytics cookies
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a consent banner so you can Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (security, load balancing, basic page delivery) may be used without consent where permitted. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
If we later add analytics or a Pinterest Tag (or similar marketing tags), those scripts will load
only after you Accept (via window.seediyConsent). Rejecting keeps them off.
5. Third parties we use
| Provider | Role | Privacy info |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Static website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), DNS, CDN, HTTPS and security for seediy.com | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| ClickBank / vendors | Affiliate tracking and product checkout after you click an offer link | ClickBank Privacy Policy |
| Traffic may arrive from Pins; a Pinterest Tag may be added later for measurement/ads (consent-gated) | Pinterest Privacy Policy |
When you leave our site for a merchant or social platform, their own privacy policies apply. We do not control ClickBank’s or a vendor’s cookies on their domains.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — operating a secure informational website, preventing abuse, measuring basic technical reliability, and responding to inquiries (balanced against your rights).
- Consent — non-essential cookies, analytics, and marketing tags (you can withdraw anytime via the Cookie Policy / banner controls).
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information to comply with law.
- Contract / steps prior to contract — only if you later buy something from us directly (we do not currently sell products ourselves on this site).
Under CCPA/CPRA we act as a “business” for personal information we control about California residents who visit this site. We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined, because we do not currently run advertising pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required opt-outs.
7. How long we keep information
- Email correspondence: as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted or archived if we must keep a record.
- Security / server logs: retained by providers according to their settings — typically short periods unless needed for security investigations.
- Consent choice in your browser: until you clear site data or change your choice.
- Affiliate click identifiers: handled by ClickBank under their policies after you leave our site.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, transfers rely on the providers’ appropriate safeguards (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in their privacy documentation.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information (subject to legal exceptions)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for example your EU/EEA DPA, the UK ICO, or Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority)
- California residents: know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not currently sell or share); non-discrimination for exercising rights
To exercise rights, email peretzdigital@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Israel Privacy Protection Law
As an Israeli operator, we also take into account Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and related regulations. We aim to process personal data fairly, for stated purposes, with reasonable security, and to honor access and correction requests you send to our contact email.
12. Security
We use HTTPS and Cloudflare security features. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to reduce risk with our providers’ tools.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or via a site notice where appropriate.
